Anyone have any experience with them? How are they compared to Borla Stingers?
I found an almost brand new set that I can get my hands on, but had never heard of them...
I think just about everyone in my club, C2C2, has the GHL Bullets. From what I've been told the Stingers have a nasty drone. The Bullets sound awesome on both NA and FI systems.
I have them on my completely stock '03 A/E. Love the sound and no drone. Exotic sound at WOT, nice rumble at idle. Some may not like the "burble" when backing down but that's old school baby!
Even the guy I had install them liked them and he's more of Ford guy. He also says Borlas are overpriced.

Yup !
I tried a few other exhausts on my car, and heard many more in person.
I am not switching from my GHL Bullets.
They are just perfect for my tastes.
Not too loud, but not too quiet.
GREAT muscle car sound, and enhance the cam sound.
No drone on my GHL Bullets.....
The poorly engineered Borla Stingers drone...

Toque
Exactly correct. I can now say that with experience since they have been on my car since Monday
Also, check out Toque's video on ghl vs borla. You can either search youtube keyword ghl vs borla or you can go to toquez06.com to see the video. They sound is represented pretty accurately and if anything, the live sound is better than it comes across on the recording. That may also be true for the stingers but the key for me is the ghl advantage at idle and having less drone. Both sound good under heavy throttle but I'd even give ghl a slight advantage there.
Im ready to go GHL! I have been waffling over what exhaust to get but this thread sealed it! What vendor is best for these? Thanks!
I think I got mine from Southern Car Parts, they were having a clearance late last spring, plus free shipping . Free shipping is worth $50 depending on where you're at, I'm in Oregon, free shipping from Georgia was a good deal on a big box item.

Here's a recent GoPro video with enhanced audio of my Z06. I have to say that the idle sound is almost dead on wit the Sony audio recorder. The revs are a little distorted, it was my first attempt at recording.
I'm pretty modified (H/C LS3, 501 RWHP/468RWTQ). One thing to note, cats make a big difference with the GHL bullets. I have high-flo cats and it's not as loud as it was without them...but, it still screams at WOT!
I'll also post my car as well. Here's my GHLs with American Racing headers and x-pipe. Definitely a quality piece and well worth the money. You won't be disappointed with them.
Picked them up today. The guy says he's a forum member here, but I didn't bother asking what his screen name was due to the fact that his personality was so dry, he was almost to the point of being rude.
I can not stand interacting with people like that. Anyways....got them for $500, he had the receipt showing where they were less than a year old and physically, they're impeccable.
I'll get a video up as soon as I get them installed.
