well i got my second chance bid request from ebay, and they wanted the cash sent to prague, CK?????

didnt seem right at all, and i came here asked for help and its a well know scam it seems. **** all looked official to me, except that prague part.

sad thing is i was so close to bitin

lol, i knew there had to have been something up. cars never sell under MMR unless they have issues, salvage title, really rough etc. if you can't get your hands on manheim market report prices the NADA clean trade figure is very close, sometimes it's actually a bit lower than MMR

that at least tells you where the rock bottom of the market is and where dealers will start buying. any car listed under that amount is highly suspect

Just thought I would let you know that if you are looking on Vettehound , beware that it is known for the same type of scams. So many that are too good to be true and they aren't.

I think the transmission is a big issue for manuals(it's someting I'm currently going through as well). It could be as simple as changing fluid, or buying a new transmission. If it's auto you're after, less risk there.
what exactly are the tranny issues we should look for ? thanks

Dang... why did i have to wait and list my truck this week... instead of a few weeks ago.. Then it woul've been sold and i'd be on the phone with you!

Better hub cap gaskets, muffler bearings, and paint hardness.
