C6ZO6 to C5ZO6

Just my observations having owned both.
Before I picked up the C6Z I had a 2004 Coupe CE A4 that I bought new. I did heads, cam, kooks headers 3.42s and a polished Maggie 502 RWHP. I liked the C6Z better then the C5 Coupe and I like the C5Z better (for driving) then the C6Z
...but then about 6 months after i bought my FRC, i swapped keys with a friend's cammed '70 454/4spd - holy crap, was that a fun car to drive! very 'raw' & felt more like a race car.
The Best of Corvette for Corvette Enthusiasts
refined doesn't have jack to do with stiffness or quality. the raw feeling that some of us enjoy is a street car that's at least somewhat close to a track car. by the time you soften everything up, make it quiet and add a lot of gizmos it's not that car anymore
ferrari f40 is an example of a pure, raw car that is seen by many as the best supercar of all time.
it has no radio, no power anything and no carpet

liveaboard has a 112 on his LS1 with cam, heads, meth, exhaust, & 10psi for just over 550
my stock LS1 with a 2300@11psi & exhaust is about 540

Plus you guys are way to focused on peak #s. It's power across the run that wins NOT peak #s
1st and only time I've been at the track in 35 years did a mid 11 with Pirelli PZeros at Vegas on a high DA day.
Sea level and DRs easy 10.9xxx car with a Geezer driving.

And for the record, if I can get my car to that 415 mark at the tires..... I will be more than happy.

Stiffness- I refer to as chassis...not suspension. Chassis stiffness provides steering confidence, preciseness, less dynamic changes under load, etc.
Quality- I'd refer to as sound deadening, interior fitment (reduction of squeaks/rattles under load), etc. This creates more of a "disconnect" to the road for many because they feel more isolated.
Civility- Electronic intervention has a lot to do with making a serious car...feel civil. The ZR1 is a perfect example of that. Electronically, the car can literally make you faster...allow you to reach the limits of the car easier and with more confidence. No one will say the ZR1 is LESS of a car...but it has been proven by Milner himself...that the car will assist you in driving faster with electronics on vs off.
Point is...RAW...tends to be the result of hearing more road noise, feeling more transmission of vibration, picking up subtle changes in road surface, etc. Raw can be perceived as faster feeling, while it often isn't.
So, my original point is...the newer the Corvette is, and the further it's refined and improved upon...the less that "RAW" feeling will exist, unless it is injected intentionally. Intentionally as in Z06 (no sound deadening, thinner glass, stiffer bushings, etc), or Viper ACR (no radio, sound deadening, spherical bearing components, etc).

Boost rule of thumb is approx 20 hp per # of boost. I ran 6 with a conservative tune here in Vegas.
