Love it, good lookin car! Thinking about doing the same together with a C6 Z06 big brake. Did you weight the complete wheel for each side? If yes, how much is the complete wheel?
C6's yes, C5's...looking like the are using rubber bands as tires. Z06 is supposed to be a street legal "Race car", how many race cars you see running rubber bands?
After seeing Latterlon's car it really made me like the TSW Interlagos' wheels. He was nice enough to answer many questions from me and that got me to buy a set too. I did go a little different on the front than him. Instead of a 19x9 with a 265/30-19 I went with 19x10.5 and 20x10.5 wheels with 295/30-19 and 315/30-20 Toyo R888 tires. I finally had them mounted and balanced this weekend. Now I just need to lower it a little bit.
That looks really great, glad I could help. I like the wider 295 up front. That should help your stance a bit since the rear is so tight if you go real low. Be sure to post photos once its lowered.
It should have enough grip to skew the asphalt now!

Thanks man and thanks again for th red help.
Do you know the limits for stock bolts? As in how much I can lower it just using them? I figure if I stick to the stock bolts it might keep me from being tempted to drop it more. lol
Hopefully I might find some time this weekend to lower it and I can post the results.
I was pleasantly surprised by how well these tires grip. This is all seat of the pants, buy they feel liked the grip better than even the Nittos.
Even if a 20" wheel has the same weight as the stock wheel, it still puts more weight out further from the axis, this causes rotational mass and that is bad.
Just for the hell of it I pulled off one front and one rear wheel off of my car today to see what the setup weighed. I scaled them on my buddy's track scales so the weights are only in whole pounds.
The wheels are TSW Interlagos.
Up front are 19x10.5's with 295/30-19 Toyo Proxes R888 and scaled in at 52 lbs..
In the rear are 20x10.5's with 315/30-20 Toyo Proxes R888 which scaled in at 59 lbs..
I don't think the weights are too crazy considering the wider wheel and tire up front and wider tire in the rear.
19/20 to me look fine, everyone has their own opinion. unless you drag race or track the car on a road course 19/20 for ''performance'' on the street is fine. for everyday driving or running on the highway i have not noticed any performance loss at all, not one bit or even noticed a difference in braking for everyday regular street driving.
as for the whole issue on looking ''ghetto'', its simply what kind of wheels your going to be putting on, the look of the wheel makes it look ghetto not the 19/20 size set up simple as that.
here is a pic of my car with the ruff 281's 19/20 and the car drives and handles like stock to me i cant even tell a difference. only time i can tell is when i throw the stock z06 wheels on with the drag radials out back and ran it down the 1320. but take it from me i assure you wont even notice a difference while cruising around town.
