Mike...the '75 is original, L-48 automatic with 43k miles. I just didn't drive the '99 FRC that much. They are just my toys. The Boss 302 is fun to drive, totally different from the Vette and 100 hp more. If I start to miss it too much I'll get another.

I have a friend who has a Boss 302 that's identical to yours. He's been road racing for years and says it's the best track car he's ever owned.

My first Corvette was a '74 L48 Manual that I kept for 24 years. I rarely drove it after I got my C4 then C5 so I sold it in '02 and kept the C5. I did the opposite. There is a nice low mileage (I think 34K miles) original Orange '75 convertible for sale in the C3 section. Enjoy the Boss 302

That's what I gather from the research I've done. Sure does handle good right off the show room floor and the track key software enabled from Ford Racing along with the track apps are really cool features.
You got a good price for the FRC and that Boss 302 looks like a nice ride. Best of luck with it and nice that you still have a Vette in the stable.
I thought so too, considering I paid $18k for it two years ago and that the C7 is soon to be all the rage. It was just too hard to pass up. Mershon's listed it for $24.9k and they only had it for three weeks!
I've owned most all of 'em. Dollar for dollar (especially resale) the ponies are in another class. Compare m most any Poontang (not a Shelby) with any Vette, guess who wins?

The track key is neat, in that it optimizes a whole bunch of parameters for a little extra go....
However, i have yet to figure out, if you have the track key, why you would EVER use the normal key again???
