Climate Control Display is gone, Help?
My climate control has slowly gotten dimmer and dimmer over time. I have been doing other mods and let this issue go for some time. Now I have nothing and either need to replace it or fix it. I know some of you guys have had yours fixed, I need info on who does it.
Is there a vendor that will do an exchange? I don't feel like taking it apart and doing the fix myself as I just don't have the patience and time.
Which vendors do this fix and what is the aprox cost? Thanks for your help with this.

contact Jhonathon at JW Motoring....i think he still uses forum member tstar (Tim) to do his fixes....not 100% sure but Tim fixed one for us a couple years ago and it is still perfect

It's very easy to do. Takes 10-15 minutes at the most.
I would recommend trying it yourself. If not, post in your regional section to see if someone will come help you do it.
Hell, I would do the work for free if you were near me. It's easy.

Here is a link on how to access the unit for removal. I used this to remove mine to fix. You only need to go part way (console removal) since it is for getting to the instrument panel.

I agree - check with JW Motoring on what he can do for you.

I have the same issue, but If it's fairly easy I could try doing it myself first
