Default Plasti-dip rims?

What do you think, shouled I plasti-dip my rims. There is nothing wrong with them, its just the brake dust is killing me. I may need new brakes, I can wash them and then within ten miles they look like crap again.... what should I do?

plasti dip is an option.. did it on my wifes mustang and it lasted a year... you can take plastic bags and split them... feed it through the wheels to cover the caliper and rotor... then you can "dip" them while still on the car. pretty simple process and if you dont like it.. peel it.

your still going to get brake dust on the plastic dip and it won't be as easy to clean off.

Change to a ceramic pad.

I changed to drilled/slotted rotors and ceramic pads. I then removed all 4 tires and dipped them. Love the new look and when I'm sick of it, peels right off.

Someone on here made wagon wheels into 10 spoke looking wheels with PD I cant find post though
I would also take note cards and place them around between wheel and tire to keep off tire.

I just did my "track" set up with PD and I never was a black wheel guy. It looks better in person than the pics you will see on here. Looks really good on a shiny car.
Walmart has plasti dip gloss enhancer. Haven't tried it yet.

It's fun, cheap, easy, and non-permanent.

Plasti dip doesn't have much overspray. There is a tutorial on youtube about plasti dipping your rims. It's done by Fonzi from dipyourcar.com. Check it out. Just do a search for plasti dip rims and several show up.

But, give it a try and see how you like it. Easy enough to take back off if you don't.
