1st autocross
so in a few weeks I am going to be doing my first auto cross in my 2003 Z06..its not stock, but I have been prepping for a few weeks on things to do to my car..i installed new tires...as well as 2012 c6 z06 shocks..
is there anything else I should do before the event?

I know a guy with a ZL-1 Camaro that started auto crossing last year. He took his future son in law with him to watch. The next time they went the kid was allowed to take future mother in laws car to the autocross. I don't know what kind of car it was but the kid beat the ZL-1 every time out for the rest of the year.

it is hard to say what you need b4 your first event as there are so many things you can do. however what I would do is find an experienced driver out there and see if he would either ride with you or even better take your car out and give you advice for future events

Get there early and pay attention... Walk the course at least twice and try to memorize it.. They're not always easy to follow like a road course...
That being said, I'm horrible at it, but it's fun.
