Lowered the car last weekend on stock bolts. Cut the rubber on the back after It did not seem to go down much after the first attempt. Sure makes a big difference however the ride is a little more harsh.
[QUOTE=chassed;1583736852]That's a VIS fuzion hood.
OP the hood looks grat. Post more pictures if possible.[/QUOTE
Correct, it is a VIS CF hood. I got it off a friend with some damage, repaired it and had it painted. Thanks everyone for looking. I will try to get more pics this weekend. For those that don't know we came to the conclusion on here with some very knowledgeable help that this was a special order car with Fire thorn exterior and fire thorn interior. When I bought it I made the post asking if anybody had ever seen one with this color combo. I looked at many C5's before this one and it was the only one I had ever seen. Long story short the build sheet confirms that is the way it came.
Thanks everyone. My other C5 FRC was lower than this and it had some front spoiler drag problems but not too bad if you were careful. I just love the look of these cars when they are low. Mine sits in the garage most of the time but Friday evening and Saturday afternoon weather permitting to go for a ride with the top down so the lower stance is not that big an issue too me. Besides it's in my man "cage" as my wife calls it with the big screen TV watching Nascar and NFL football, etc. so it has to look it's best or as good as I can afford. I don't penalize her for my shortcomings!
