Im doing a tr6060 upgrade and i need to modify my axle back(add 2.5 inch).Since i dont know anyone or shop near me that weld titanium, i would need to change the axle back system for a standard stainless steel one.
Wich one would you suggest if im searching the closest replacement for stock TI.
Something kinda quiet at idle but loud at WOT.
Something that fit great.
Something has light has possible
I have a 03Z06 with LG street headers, no cats, borla stingers, dyno tuned. As far as sound love the sound. Borlas used to get a bad rep for creating drone while cruising around 1500rpm. Borla claims they have fixed it. Mine do not drone.
Good luck! and let us know which route you decide to go!
Another vote for Borla Stingers! Deep, throaty, hollow exhaust tone beats raspy, cackly, sounds-like-glasspacks exhaust tone every time. Rumble > cackle. Long-tubes + x-pipe = no drone.
Too old school sounding? That's a roar that'll put hair on yer chest.
I can cruise at highway speeds in 6th gear without any drone. If I'm down low in the rpm range, 1000 - 1200 rpm, then I'll get drone. I usually keep the revs up higher than that when I'm driving so it's not really an issue for me.

you know i just rode in a car with stingers after i typed that. really not that bad on a c5. did not like borla all too much on mustangs or c4's, for some reason they don't sound bad on a c5
All of the above systems will be much louder than Tis. Borla Stingers are great until you start other mods that increase sound, like headers, and a cam. I'd find a Ti welder. It's not that difficult.
I can vouch for the corsa sport, I believe they are the same as my corsa pace car exhaust.
It's very quite, with no drone when you are cruising, and loud when you get on it.
That Corsa Pace Car exhaust sounds awful. Very raspy and "fluttery". Like a muffler someone punched holes in. Please tell me the tone sounds better with long-tubes and an X-pipe...

I don't know what you mean by "fluttery" but I guess it does sound a bit raspy because the sound was too loud for the camera. I love the way my exhaust sounds, I prefer it to every other borla I've heard. I do like the BB exhausts though, but I was told their drone can be obnoxious.

Corsa sounds amazing! I was debating on corsa xtreme and B&B PRT
My B&B PRT sounds amazing. Now with high flow cats sounds even better.
i dont find it to have any drone.
For ppl that wanna cut CABIN exhaust noise simple answer is trunk partition (cuts the noise in half
