I posted some pictures on my web page of a 427 ZO6 and a dyno sheet of the car, on motor and on a 125 shot of nitrous. This car was built by Lamar Walden. I't has a custom fogger system on it that can handle way more than 125 shot . But the customer is 75 years old thats right 75!! The 71 corvette is my car. The dyno sheet next to my car is three nitrous pulls.100/125/150.
Lamar is building a 2001 ZO6 with 20lbs boost supercharger. The customer wants 800 to 900 horse power. I will post some pictures of this beast when they get it together.
Yes, He is located in Doraville off of Buford Hwy on Steve Drive, just north of 285. Give him a call. He's been building high performance and race engines for 35+ years. There's a lot of start up performance shops around Atlanta that tune and farm out machine work. I wouldn't trust these people with my car.
I'm sure Lamar has stayed up nights trying to figure how he could shoehorn one of his "Famous 409's" between the fenders of a C5.
He knows how to make'em run!
:chevy
  Help...Is that a Gen I Big Block?(valve covers don't look right)or is that a C5R???What does the C5R block stem from????LS1???
That's a picture of the engine in my 71 corvette. The ZO6 engine is a standard LS1 block with a big bore sleeve kit, billet main caps, aftermarket rods and a 4 inch stroke crank.
There is no question Lamar Walden is one of the best chevy guys in the business. He built the motor in my '55 chev 35 years ago and he's gonna build the 427 for my ZL1 a few weeks from now. I have no doubt it will be done right the first time.
I spent a couple hours in his shop yesterday. I think he turns down more business than he takes!
