Both sweet rides, however I am partial to verts so I vote for the Clown.

Plus, Blitz turned me onto the "Blitzkrieg Tonneau Paint Mod"...

However, James wins the most "cool pics" award!

Funny, because I roll my eyes over the OEM-loving, matching polo shirt-wearing clubs, show bias I experience in my neck of the woods and would love to take these two cars plus a dozen other favorite CF modified C5s on this board and have us all line up at a local show, just daring the judges to turn up their noses...

I like the tonneau paint mod but with my color there isn't a lot of choice in painting it. Possibly silver.... maybe. Black, red, gold, light oak would all look bad I think.

I vote for the Clown, love Verts anyways. Z is nice too but, I don't care for the black spoiler. Not a fan of black wheels either, but they look good on his car. Thumbs up to both!!

Yep, it was a tough decision for me as well because I knew the black would not "pop" against the Spiral Gray like it does on Blitz's yellow vert.

You can't see it in the picture, but the black paint has a metallic flake that matches up with the Spiral Gray metallic paint. I also painted the lower front and rear fascias as well.

I like it and it brings together my primarily black, with gray trim, interior. I like how the black connects to the tonneau cover black rubber protector strip as well.

James, what's with the wrinkly LeBra on the front of your hood? Your car looks great otherwise!

I do not personally like verts, but I'm missing pics of James' engine to make a decision. I need to see the whole package.

Currently Blitz has my vote, but again just because I've never seen pics of James' engine.

I do disagree with the NA vs. FI & Vert vs. Z06 comments. We ALL compete head to head in shows. The categories are more like stock vs. modified & obviously both are modified. Both cars are tastefully done & both are AWESOME cars!!!

James post pics of your engine & "win me over".....

Off the topic, why don't we vote on a ROTM here?? It would be fun. One month we could do stock, then modified cars, we could appeal to all???

It's a Tie! I suggest you both take some time off from mods and buy real dslr's with a good quality 18-100+mm lens and learn how easy and much better your pics can be.

Both awesome rides. That said, not big on yellow. I vote James.

We do all compete against each other if it were a car show in the modified class but to me it is like trying to debate the best baseball player of all time between Babe Ruth and Pete Rose, they are totally different but both baseball players. Or best football player between Jerry Rice and Reggie White, they are totally different but both football players.

Mr.Bill
The best Corvette is the one that has my name on the title, simply because it's the one that's mine, and that's all that really matters.

I'm a Z06 fan and not really a rag top fan, but I will pick Blitz.

Really do not care for the black wheels, black spoiler, or blacked out grill.

No denigration intended. Different strokes for different folks.

Put a Torch Red Z06 with premium chrome or polished aluminum wheels and engine upgrades (if spoilers are added, make them match the Torch Red exterior) and I would definitely have a different opinion.

Both cars are great, but I'll go with James' Z06 by a nose.
