Route Advice please
In mid May I'm driving the Corvette from Southern Indiana to Sioux Falls South Dakota to pick up our granddaughter for her yearly 2 week visit with Papa John and MomMom. We'll have 14 to 20 hours in the saddle ahead of us. She's 15 now, and patty-cake and peek-a-boo no longer work as they used to. But, she loves the Corvette; she was with me last year when I picked it up. We'll have a good time on the trip back.
Finally, the question. I'm driving out on I-64 to St. Looey, I-40 to K-City and thence North on I-29 to SooFoo...Interstate all the way, but quickest.
So...as long as I end up in Corydon, Indiana I can take a different way home - even take an extra day if necessary. Can any of you good people recommend a section of any major route back that would be an enjoyable drive and a break from the dial tone of the Interstate? I don't expect to find a "tail of the dragon" in Minnesota, Iowa, Missouri or Illinois, but...
What can youse guys recommend? And thanks in advance.
Best Regards,
Gunny John

You would be better served with a turn by turn printout like that found with Map quest.
