Never allow mine to stay dirty. Do not usually drive in the rain, although lately in the Southeast when is it not raining? Only the days I am at work. Oh yeah, what is predicted this weekend? You guessed it, more rain.

If I get her out of the garage, she will get washed before I put her back up. Yep, extreme OCD when it comes to baby!

Help me pray for a sunny weekend. She needs to be driven!

Baby? My vettes name is " the yellow car," or " the plastic chevy." Never in my life have I given any vehicle of mine a name. Maybe that's why I drive these things in the rain. They're just cars, dude. A fun car, but just a car.

Good to know there will be plenty of pristine cars out there when I need another to hack up into a track car.

Good for you! A 100,000 mile car, but never been in the rain. I bet it doesn't even get wet when you wash it. Congrats! Sorry I mean 100,000 kilometers. (whatever the hell those are) Dang Canadiens!! What is that, about 800 miles? Just kidding! I always get a chuckle when I see the " never been in rain statement." I hope it was a sunny week when they trucked it up there. How much does rain devalue (sp?) a car anyway? Maybe at three mile island I guess. I take it back, my car has never seen the rain, either. Man, my car already feels cleaner. I should have done this sooner.

I'm going to the beach early next week, rain is (as usual) forecast. Will I take the Colorado 4X4 or the Vert? Guess

It'll clean right up!

Mine got dirty once on the drive home from where I bought it. Got caught on I-95 in the middle of a bug infestation. Then the sky opened and it rained like the dickens, and the car was clean again. Rough going for a while- the car was dirty for about 20 minutes.

I am on my 14th Corvette and all of them have been driven in the rain, not on purpose. I have gone on extended trips and have been caught in the rain. They don't melt and they are waterproof. I even raced one in the rain ( on a track ) I get a kick when the owner says never been driven in the rain. After they are made they sit outside, rain or snow. Then they are shipped in an open carrier, rain or snow. Then they sit in the dealers lot outside.
I never took a picture of mine dirty, next time it is dirty I will.
I like Mr. Bills Dirty Corvette picture. He should start a
"Dirty Corvette Calendar"

Mine gets dirty and then I clean it!, on weekend trips it even gets wet if and when it rains (shock horror to some.......)

I have fun, driving my Corvette, it getting dirty, and me cleaning and detailing her!! All part of the love affair with my Corvette
