Why would you say if it really happened??? Not to be bashing anyone but I know this is a forum and I agree some people do write things that are incorrect but maybe you shuold wait and see if he will post pics before judging someone.

I use a C6 Z06 shifter and am very happy with it. I had a Hurst and hated it.
I put a Hurst short throw in and have been dissatisfied with the notchey feel. I put in an anti-venom kit with two washers and it improved shifting from 2 nd to 3rd.
Going into first and second is notchey, especially when cold. Is it the Hurst? Did you have similar problems of the notchey feel from Hurst and did the C6 Z06 shifter help?
Does that shifter fit into the C-5 (2004 base) just fine?
