'03 Ordered

Well after finding this forum and bouncing between the C5's for sale and the Z06 board for a few months, I signed the deal on my MY-'03 Z06. Even got a nice discount by a forum dealer. My '98 C5 was the best vette I have ever owned, but after my test drive in an '02 I can't wait. I've already got a build week of 7/28, so all I'm waiting for is my NCM date. Already started a list of mods thanks to all of the postings. I can't thank all of you Z06 owners who post for all the great info..I'll let all of you know how the 425 miles from Bowling Green to Chicago go....

This will be a long wait, but it will be worth it! Great choice in car and color with the additional treat of it being in Corvette's 50th year.

thanks.. In fact I purchased it in Atlanta this week from Mark Thomas. All I had to bring him was a Harley shirt :cool:

The dealer has a pretty big allotment, but I was surprised more so because of the MY color. I called the NCM folks and was told that with a 7/29 build it will probably be 8/19 before I can pick it up, which is great. I'm planning a long labor day trip back home to enjoy every non-freeway road I can.. :yesnod:
