Default C5 sickness.....need cure

Ok this might be termed a WTB thread but I already posted there. You see I have come down with a sickness called vette fever. I cannot seem to treat it. The only cure is to purchase one but I can't find any. Apparently others are inflicted with this sickness and are not willing to part with their cure. Summer/spring perhaps.

My doctor has given me medication to help treat my condition but says without the cure I may not make it through the summer!!!!

So if you or anyone else knows a friend or someone who is willing to part with their cure please let me know.

Coupe with Z51 or Z06. No yellow, bright red or green.

Thanks all!!

Medical term for your condition is Neurofiberglasosis Syndrome. Can be treated but no cure.

No known cure yet... Buying a vette only exacerbates the problem and can lead to further complications such as mod-fever.

well I am coming from a yellow mach 1 and it proved to be a bit difficult to get sold. Only 30k miles too. I already own a red car as my daily driver and wife is dead set against green. Figures because I found a green one with 53k and Z51 suspension in bowling green mettalic and while I love the color there is a reason why its on the lot for 2 months and a dealership lowered their price to 17k! Guy kept calling me for 3 weeks until he finally dropped to 17k. Still not sold. Too bad because it is in super condition.

Not many cars look good in yellow.....a Vette IS one that does.

That's a shame your wife doesn't like it - the bowling green metallic is really a very nice color on the C5. Good luck finding a car that is right for you though.

My dad has a babied Pewter Metallic Coupe. It's an extra now as he has too many Vettes right now (3 at moment). PM me if you are anywhere near Florida.

Sure is the truth. Mod fever is far worse than Vette fever.

There is a boatload till you start getting specific in what you will consider. Then there is one or two in a 200 mile radius :-)

When you get specific about what you are looking for it can be hard to find. I looked for a couple of months and found 4 that met my specs. I live in central Arkansas and the ones I found were in Texas, Virginia, Kansas and Denver.
