Has anyone ever had this done? Not sure how it would look and was curious if it could even work/last on that type of part. Probably would look cooler on big brake kits like the c6z as well.

The all aluminum big brake calipers do not get hot at all...you can touch them with your finger after a drive....they dissipate heat much faster than cast iron, and keep in mind they are insulated from the hot rotors by the brake pads. So, heat is not a huge issue for the paint...I used standard rattle can paint on mine and there is no heat damage potential.

I dont think we can really say the caliper are insulated by the pads since its the friction caused by the pads that makes the heat and the material in the pads has absolutely no insulating properties.
