I got the thumbs up from the driver of a Shelby Mustang Convertible today, that is a whole lot more rare then getting the "wave" from a corvette owner. I saw two corvettes on my way to the lawyers office neither one returned my wave most of the time corvette owners do.
While cruising through the Black Hills of South Dakota last year, I got a thumbs up from a Harley rider.
When we got back to the motel there was 4 old street rods sitting there. One of the owners came over to me and said "now that is the perfect car for crusing through these mountains" The motel owner told me one of the guys owns a well known car restoration business in Texas. The 4 of them were on a month long trip driving around the country and showing their cars at big car shows.
I usually give some kind of wave or thumbs up to all Corvettes and most muscle cars - - most of the time I get a wave back - - more so with my red 73 than this C5- but it's a nice fellowship either way.

True car guys will wave when it comes to their rides. If I see a nice ride, regardless of the make, I'll wave.

Good to see some courtesy between owners of different car makes - I too will wave or at least give a thumbs up if I see a nice car - doesn't matter what make or model.
