Drove the Z06 to Myrtle Beach last night for a show on Saturday. This is a 200 mile cruise from the house and the car performed great as usual.
Stretched its legs on a nice highway man the car is stable and the only way to explain the feeling is exhilarating. Never breaking the posted speed limit i must admit!
I will post some pictures of this pristine R8C car once its cleaned up!

Thats was always the case with the yellow car that just sold. Believe it or not, nobody has even tried with the red car. It stock other than headers....but does pull really hard.
Ya Its hard to drive a couple of hrs on the Highway without anyone trying to push ya into a race. I just drove a long way and I was even getting moms in mini-vans playing around.
Our cars are so Kool looking it just does that to everyone
(OP) My Wife came home today saying that someone where she works (Hospital) told her there was a Corvette Show here Saturday. I hadn't heard anything about it. I'd already planned something for Saturday anyway. If I was in town, I'd probably be working.

(I live in North Myrtle.)
Yeah the show is located at Broadway, they had a gathering tonight down at Springmaid but it was for pre registered only. The cost was $110 for dinner tonight and other amenities. That included the show tomorrow.
It appeared by the cars there tonight that the turn out will be good. Sorry you couldnt make it. Contemplated bringing the C2 but drove the Z06 instead.
Sounds like a great trip. Be safe and post pics soon. By the way, you may ahve wanted to take the C2 but, nothing like stretching out that Z on the open road!!
