Check out post #4 for the instructions
Wolfsteins RaggTopp is what always I use...Looks like you need the Fabric top kit (not Vinyl) it's about $30. Good luck with it
Congratulations on your C5 convertible! The Medium Spiral Gray is a beautiful color that really ages well.
The instructions above pretty much outline the process pretty well. A great first mod would be the "Window Valet" which allows you to press your keyfob to lower and raise your windows. It's a great way to lower your top without having to get inside the car!
Remember to have the windows rolled down when you put the top UP, otherwise the metal frame of the top will hit the windows.
If the cover that pops open to fold the top down doesn't easily lift all the way up when you lift on it (the same way that the trunk lid lifts up all the way) then the gas springs are worn and should be replaced, which will also make it easier to take the top down.
Once you get good at it, you can put the top up and down from the diver seat.
Also, congrats! C5s are awesome cars, and the convertible are VERY well built. The C5 platform was designed as a convertible first, not as an afterthought, so the the frame is very rigid on the convertibles, stronger than most of its clothtop competitors.
I recommend a Window Valet for your first mod. It will allow you to automatically roll the windows up/lock the doors or down/unlock with a few short button pushes on the key FOB.
That ladder in the pic scares me.

I'm not familiar with the Window Valet. Can you talk more about this and how to get it? Thanks.
