Default Track Day Tire Set Up Question

I have a 2003 Z06 and I am looking to get a new set up rims and tires for the track for HPDE, ect. events. I have done all the research on making sure I maintain the correct tires sizes between front and rear. Here is my question though, I have a certain wheel dealer telling me a great package to put on it is 285/35/18 with 11 inch rims on the front and 305/35/18 with 12 inch rims on the back using Nitto NT555 RII's. Is there anybody out there running this setup? I am not worried about looks, but I don't want it hanging outside the rear fender so far that I am tearing up the paint or causing any other issues. I have the after market GM brake air ducts also in the front. My car is lowered about 1.5 to 2 inches on Pfadt coil over and sway bars too. Let me know what you guys think.

I've had good luck running four 18x10.5 speedlines with 315/30 R Comps on all four corners. You can get brand new 18x10.5 Speedlines from House Of Wheels for $300 each, which is hard to beat.
Here is mine...........
