Everywhere else to include your source wanted 12 bucks for one. I went there and pretended to order one to see what shipping was. Gm Parts wanted 25 bucks for 5.

I hear ya on the shipping. Some of the Ebay sources want $5-$6 shipped, so better in that case.

Yeah when they say free shipping it's BS. But it is what it is. Now I wish I would have seen your recommendation on the tape before I ordered them. I would go that route. I have no need to take mine off as I already replaced my speakers. The silicone works but it's not a permanent fix. I've had to redo it twice already.

From what I understand, the adapter plugs into the the two bose wiring at one end and the other end fits into the new 2 tabs regular 3.5 speaker

Before you start, look up the door panel removal instructions on the Vette Essentials web site (www.vetteessentials.com). Excellent instructions with pics and they are step by step.
