Looks like it grew there from the factory.... it gives your car a whole new feeing. Especially from your point of view.. I did the same thing a few months ago. Dennis is great.

The HU is a pioneer Z-140, and I changed out all the speakers. Hertz 6in comp. in the doors and 5 1/4 coax. in the rears, and a 10 in Hertz sub in a stealth box.

It sounds amazing. I would highly recomend Hertz speakers, there a little on the high side, but worth every penny. The bigest compliment I get when people here it is, " I cant believe how good those speakers in the door sound, and how loud they get".

I already bought Infinity components. They got a high rating on several revues that I checked so I will keep that in mind if I dont like them.

I din not put in the backup camera yet. The price of the radio included having the bezel modified to the double din. I sent it back to Dennis and he does the bezel then sends out everything at the same time.

Hey John- need your advice- just got quote from my local radio shop- good guys just checking price:
doubledmod for 2001 $400
back up camera 100
pioneer avic150bt ipod and satt 1,300
kit and harness 140
labor 300

total before tax basically 2,200

does that sound about right???

I already have the upgraded speakers and amp!!

seems high for the radio, but i got the z140 from dennis when he had his deal. radio and mod for 850
