Parked the Vette near someones re-claimed sprinklers and when the windshield dried it left water spots. I've tried quite a few things to remove them but nothing! Even tried Zanio window glass paste. I'm screwed? Any suggestions???

Living in South Florida....constant rain and sprinklers, I use Invisible Glass, often. I have used RainX. Both worked well.
we have iron in our water & all of our tinted window show the water spots SO BAD, so I asked my detail guy that takes care of my road tractor & his reply...the easiest way to get rid of them, muriatic acid. put some on a rag & just wipe on wipe of. been doing this for the last 10 years. you would be amazed how easy it is.
I want to thank all the replies and suggestions. So far nothing has worked. I haven't tired the steel wool or the acid yet. WD-40, vinegar, the only thing that came close was carb cleaner. The acid sounds like it might cut it. Better be careful of the paint tho...

I assure you that Muriatic acid on a rag & wipe it on & wipe it off, NO HARD WORK at all.
All I have to do is find some. I don't have a pool but my son does and I will see him today.
I was unaware that is was used in the pool industry, learn something new every day. I buy it at Lowes & use it for washing concrete, stone & brick. (& cleaning the water spots off my windows) LOL

It controls the ph level in a pool. Coupled with chlorine that's what keeps a pool clean and now, hopefully, windshields!
