I think the hood looks great. Some mesh screens in the center openings would go good - sort of like what the Motor City Mold hood had on it. If that hood was produced, I would certainly consider one.

the hood is just smc fiberglass. but smc bonds very well to the plastic parts too. white plastic not black. i roughed it with a d/a and a file board but the side vents had to be done by hand. real pain in the arsss trying to get symmetry with all the curves but i needed this project for my sanity. gets old doing yamaha vx110s and seadoos every friggin day

Unless you like the sunken in look.

But again, nice job. Definitely an improvement over your last one.
i am doing a rear bumper, rear fenders, rockers and front bumper. only thing im not sure about is the front bumper. i may just exaggerate the current c5 front styling.

its not that i like the sunken look but they cant pave for ***** in bulhead city az so i leave them that way not to throw rocks at my bumper. zero rubbing issues tho

i almost glassed in celica headlights. i thought vertical lights might be cool because no one has done it yet. i may relocate the headlights into the front bumper. no solid game plan for the front yet

the center scoops are molded from the c5 side vents so any of those inserts would work. i havent screened anything yet because its just a prototype. i will eventually make a mold and make a one piece hood. too many layers now so it too heavy

I have to admit it looks a ton better with paint on it, would love to see it without the side vents as most have said here, looks like you have found a real winner there.

sounds like an overwhelming consensus get rid of the side vents (especially since they are non functional and a big pain anyways ) and you have a winner! how much for a torch red one?

maybe a photoshop of keeping side vents but removing middle vents? I would just leave one side vent on each side...

I'm sorry but I'm not a vendor. I'm not selling anything I'm just modding my own car. I am considering it for the future but not right now. I'm not set up for production everything I make is hand laid. Plus it doesn't make sense to only have one product to sell. When I finish all the panels for the car I will go down that road. But for ****** and giggles I think I will make a hood with no vents. Everyone has me curious how it would look.

Does anyone have any cool ideas for the front bumper? Its the one thing that I am struggling with. I can make just about anything and I'm open to suggestions

Well if you did decide to make another one to see how it looked and you made it TR I'd be willing to be the test vehicle for it

Wow fantastic work !

I agree with others though.
The center vents only would be just enough.
The side vents just look a little over the top.
