New Stablemate
Was time for my wife to replace her vehicle. She grew up with a passion for Camaros, just as I did for Corvettes. We initially looked around for GTO's, but had a very hard time finding them in decent shape. It seems that while they do hold value, the owners do not put the work in to maintaining them like we do our brand of vehicle.

That's unfortunate about the GTO's. All the guys I know take exceptional care of theirs. It's a labor of love, but there are some losers out there who beat them, don't take care of them and are the first to say they suck and don't hold up well. My 05 now going on 8 years old is as good if not better than when I bought it new. Of course I added a supercharger and other goodies to my MBM and it's now at 570 h.p.

I had a 69 in high school and recently had an RS as a rental, 1600 miles in a week.
I really wanted to like it but the visibility was horrible for me.
I had several folks give me the one finger salute as I almost cut them off.

Something I forgot to mention in our PM's...I negotiated the price on the 05 down from 15.9 to 13.2. When we really got looking at the car more and decided we didn't want it, they dropped the price 2x's to around 11K. Since last Sunday the have called my house with 2 more numbers falling all the way to 8K.
The car is still listed online at 15.9, if a mechanically/cosmetically inclined person buys it they are going to fall off into a heartbreaking situation. The multiple price drops along tell me that something is lurking under the hood.
