Yes, not easy to get pics of Torch Red in bright sunlight, the orange comes out. Usually have to look for full shade or wait for dusk to get good pics

My cell phone doesn't take nearly as good of pictures as your camera. One of these days I'll invest in a good camera. Great pictures.

I've tried hundreds of pics in the sun and they all look orange . My best pics come in the shade or on over cast days . Keep trying my friend . Maybe one day . Instead of torched red , they should have called it torched orange .

If you are shooting in bright sunlight, you have to play around in Post process to chase the orange... everything is a trade off.

Yup - red is a hard one to get right. My old SLR (read 20 years ago!) was good. Went right up to the car to set light meter, then stepped back to get the shot (plus other settings). But my point & shoot turns red cars to either orange or pink depending on the paint.

I don't have that problem James, car just looks to damn sexy all the time!
On the other hand, my Tourch Red Hair is sometimes hard to take a good pic in the sunlight!

The only way I like the bowlinggreen dark metallic is with the sun hitting right where the camera is shooting. brings out the copper color against the green paint. Otherwise it just looks like a dirty black car in the shade.
But yours looks good in sun or shade
