Cool Idea? App for Corvette Forum? Would you use it?
Has anyone ever thought of an APP (Android and Iphone) or know how to make one?
Would be pretty cool, I know LS1.com has an APP for the Android Platform!
I aint got any idea, however, of how to make one but it sure would be cool "IF" someone could or knew how to make one!
Would you use it?
Thanks,Matt

I've been using the mobile app for the corvette forum for a year, on my Android Samsung Galaxy S III.
Just take your android and book mark the corvette forum home page and then click settings then add it to your home screen.. easy peasy... I used it everyday while in the hospital.

It depends on what the app does. I already access CF on my iPhone without an app utilizing their mobile formatting config.

I hate apps that modify the way the web is viewed. I also hate web sites that redirect you to a different URL (m.some_site.... when you're on a mobile device. I know of a few sites that give you options to view the regular site. I pass on the ones that don't. Apps are good for some specific functions. Browsing web sites aren't one of those functions.

Yeah, Tap a Talk and the AutoGuide app work really well for other forums. Too bad this one doesn't participate..
The app is already created, the forum just needs to get on board.

I can't enjoy the forum on a phone, I like to sit view full page and enjoy it.
So no I wouldn't use it.
