The interior needs some contrast to it IMO, too much of one color, its nice but not what I would do myself, I kinda like the rear fenders, but I imagine the cost would change my mind pretty quick compared to others available,

I've seen pictures of the car before. I believe it was built closer to when the C5 Z06 would have been new. The C6 Z06 didn't exist when this car was built.
And the $130,000 price tag, from what I can see was an estimate made by the original poster. A rough estimate of a $30,000 car a few years ago, plus a lot in modifications.

The thread states 130,000 , so most of the comments are based on that. Ferrari has been around a long time. Most car guys would take a Ferrari over this modified C5 any day of the week. Have a good day .

$85,000 for a C5 Corvette Body kit and leather interior????? Grade-A internet-forum derision material.
There are numerous C5s on this board with much better looking paint and body modification, much better looking custom interiors, and FAR, FAR, FAR superior performance enhancements. And the average cost across a variety of differing appearance modifications and performance modifications is FAR, FAR, FAR less than what the guy who had the work done on that car got taken for.

That's just the way todays world is, anytime you express negativity toward an OPEN topic it's because you're "jealous" you don't have it or could afford it. Back in the day it was called an opinion, not "hate"

There is a guy with a mustang who hangs at our local shows. Put 40 grand into his V6 and wants everyone to know how great he is and how great his car is.
It's a nice car but the ball bag who owns it makes for an unpleasant experience.

I feel bad that the haters are so obvious. Could someone spend less money to get more bang for the buck? Sure. I see financial jealousy rearing its ugly head. Spank him all day? Why would anyone say that..? there are some 8 second Honda civics with less than 30K invested. Vette Doctor and ECS both have 8 second cars with much less than 130K invested.

This nation is rapidly becoming a nation of spineless spoiled brats, look at the car for instance, why on earth would you spend that much on a C5 ?
If I had that kind of money to spend I would be buying a ZR1 and really have an awesome car.

There is another C5 with this exact body kit in the September 2013 issue of Vette magazine. That car is black and the interior has some contrast to it. The overall look is much nicer in my opinion. Someone tell the toolbag that he no longer has the nicest C5 Corvette.
