Brought my 99 A4 down to get it tuned and somewhat of a baseline and was pretty happy with the results. Only mods are Callaway Honker and Borla Stingers. Managed 325 hp and 328 ft lbs. Runs so smooth now and has really waken up.

Did you add the Honker yourself? How much did it cost?
I did and that made a huge difference. Car just tuned 17k miles so was comfortable going on the aggressive side.
Was just happy with the numbers for 105 degree temps and the few bolt ons. Intake, cam, long tubes, heads, stall and gears coming soon. Gears are first. The tuner was hitting 160-170 on the way to redline with these 2.73's.

Good numbers from a basically stock engine. If you don't mind, could you PM me where you got the car tuned at and the price? I would like to get my A4 tuned also.

Question...Do tunes wear down the A4 transmissions faster than a non-tuned A4? I had mine tuned last year and the car shifts more aggressively and really woke it up. I love driving it, I'm just curious if the tune wears down the transmission.

No, if done properly it should actually make the clutch packs last longer (less slipping between shifts). only thing you will lose is a tiny bit of Comfort because they tune is like a electronic shift kit.
Question: which tuner (brand?) was used by the place? I have a shop that tuned my 392 SRT8. We used a DS Trinity since that was the only available.
Should I just ask them which one they suggest since they will be using it?
Mine was tuned with HP tuners.
It was expressed that since the car has so few miles it would be fine. They noted that cars in the 90k plus side tend to tear up the tranny faster since they have a good amount of wear on them at that time.
They are basically just pulling the torque management out. The car acts the same when normal driving as before aside from the lack of slop from the torque converter from lockup.
