Default Clear corners install options

Hello all, I have now done my research and still a bit confused. I am installing clear corners and LEDs this weekend (tired of the milky lenses and small cracks on the OEM lenses). So...in the opinion of those who have done it, is it easier to go up from the bottom or down from the top after removing the headlight mechanism(s)?

If you're not swapping the headlights or fixing the gears go from the bottom. Reason I say that is because there are few bolts for the headlights that can be a PITA. Some come out easy, and others not so much. It's not worth risking for this mod.

It's hard to mess anything up going from the bottom. Just my opinion after many installations

Lift the car up on ramps. It should take less than an hour to swap out from the bottom.

I went in from the bottom when I just replaced my turn signal housings. Wasn't too bad at all.

Reading this post I wonder if wanting to purchase a set of JWM Projector Lights would be buying into a "PITA" project.

Personally I would go in from the top. This keeps me from having to fiddle around with the brake duct and also keeps road debris from falling in my face. Also you won't have to lift the car to gain access.

Removing the headlight is quite easy and doesn't take very long: 7 screws, 2 bolt/nuts, 1 nut and 2 connectors per side.

while you're at it, you might want to consider a set of Radioflyer Bi-xenon Projector headlights:

(Also available in non-bi-xenon for those on a budget)

I agree with going in from the top. Take the opportunity to do the headlight gears, add HIDs and or HID fogs, etc.. And even LED strips to your new corners (RadioFlyer can hook you up)
