Congrats on the purchase. Just look out for the mod craze as I just got my current '01 vert in April and haven't stopped doing mods here and there, lol.

Way to go kid. I got my first Vette when I was almost 40. Had to give it up very shortly after and only got my second one three years ago at age 63. You're going to have a barrel (maybe several barrels) of fun with yours.

Thanks! I dont ever plan on not having a corvette in my life! hopefully I will be able to get the new C7 in a few years depending on the reviews it gets!

so I went to take the BSM's off of my car, and apparently it has been painted on that side because the clear coat is lower under the BSM than it is on the other parts of the car..I guess I could wet sand that out, but this is gonna be A LOT bigger of a project that I thought

Put the bsm's back on and call it a day and save yourself some money until you're ready to lose them. No one will make fun of you if you leave them on.

Clean them up and use 3m double sided tape.

Ive already cleaned it up and put it back on with some DS tape...yesterday, almost immediately after I took it off! haha
