Double D does it again! New stereo install.

I went with the Alpine INE-Z928HD navigation/stereo unit because of its size and features. Measuring a full 8" wide, this Alpine fits the modified double-DIN opening perfectly, and is the same width as he HVAC control panel. This head unit does just about everything imaginable, only lacking wi-fi capabilities. That wasn't important to me as I don't need to surf while cruising.
Some features that may be of interest: full navigation with split screen display, Bluetooth, movie playback, 3 camera inputs, HD stereo, and about every music source imaginable including AM/FM1/FM2, CD, SMD, USB, wired ipod/ipad, streaming audio from Apple & Android devices, Pandora Radio, Aux1 I/P and mini-jack. I installed the USB jack in the console. With a 16gb flash drive, I have all my music available without having to mess with CDs. You can pair up to 6 Bluetooth devices for music streaming as well, in case your navigator has their own music preferences.
The CD and SMD card slots are behind the screen. When hitting the Open button, the screen slides out and down for access to these slots. There are audio outputs for two amplifiers and a subwoofer, as well as video out jacks. Except for the few function buttons along the bottom of the head unit, all controls are done through the touch-screen.
I opted for a leather finish and Dennis' crew didn't disappoint. I had my bezel, console and lid covered in black leather with French stitching. All said and done, I'm quite pleased with the service and products from Double D Mods. Thanks Dennis & Devan!

The Best of Corvette for Corvette Enthusiasts

Thanks all for the compliments. This is one capable system.

I wasn't going to get the wi-fi setup, but my wife closed a 500k insurance deal while we were on the road last year with her BlackBerry, Iphone and my Ipad (she has the unlimited data plan with Verizon) and it convinced me to get the wi-fi in case I needed it.
Devan was very helpful, and along with contacting Kenwood and Verizon I figured out what I needed to order to get up and running in late October.
Thanks Double D!
