Starting problem when hot outside
Hey all,
weird and very aggravating problem.... seems the car will start in the morning, but after sitting in 100+ outside temp while at work, it won;t start when I turn the key..... nothing looks different from the morning until the afternoon on the dash, except when i turn the key to the start position nothing happens....
I push start it, get it home, same thing happens the next day....
has anyone ever heard of this?

I kind of have the same issue. The car sits outside all day, the battery holds a charge just fine, but sometimes when I try to start it I lose all power, as if the battery is removed. It starts up just fine when I jump it. I've tested the battery at 12.4 volts when not running, 13.4V when it is. The alternator puts out 14.4 volts when running. All the fuses are fine.
