The owners manual states to use "Dielectric Silicone Grease" on the weather-strip. Gm part # 12345579. Curious what others use? I would think silicone grease would collect dirt and dust. Any suggestions or thoughts? Thanks

I have used some Natural Silicone Lubricant that I bought at a local body shop. Works very well in conditioning the weatherstripping. Many others have used dielectric grease to do the job.
I have used dielectric grease on my seals, just rub it into the rubber with your finger then wipe of the excess. Never had any problems with dirt sticking to it. makes them look like new and keeps them soft.
