I can't remember who it was but somebody on here was searching for an automatic C5Z06. This one is described as a 6-speed auto but I'm inclined to believe that it's a 4L60E based on that shifter.

Going from T56 to 4L60E should be easy.
Going from T56 to a 6L80E, not so much. I believe you'd need a newer PCM and a 58x crank trigger (either convert the LS1/6 or get a Gen4 motor).
However there is a company that makes 6 speed 4L60E but they're like $5000. My guess is it's a standard 4L60E and the dealer doesn't know anything.
