Default C5Z 427 LS7 Build

Well guys it's official. Sometime next week my car will be going under the knife for my LS7 swap. 510 Race Engineering will be working with me on the swap and tuning. Their facility is top notch and feel very safe handing my keys over very soon. Here's a few teasers and build details on the swap.

I might be leaving a few things out but i'll add them in as they progress. I stopped by the shop today and got a few pictures. Sorry for the poor camera phone quality.

    Complete LS7

    Heads After Machine Work

A few other odds and ends for the swap

Ill update this as we go along. Super excited!

Yeaaaaaaa Maxx! You must be pretty damn excited! Been waiting for this build thread to start. I love these. I feel we are being spoiled though.... First Rick and his supercharger build now you and the LS7 build all back to back! Just means more goodies to look at!

Good luck with everything, and I hope it all goes without a hitch! You are in good hands.

The guys over at 510 assured me I shouldn't have any problem running 93 pump fuel.

My ls7 has 11.8 to 1 compression and I have no problem with 93 octane. You will be fine. These cylinder heads are very efficient in the combustion chamber design.

Is this going to take long,I thought you were going to VETTES AND JETS ON THE LEX? Anyway, good luck and it'll be finished before you no it, L8R ZFLASH

Thanks a lot for the re-assurance and guidance on this build.

ZFLASH, thanks for the kind words. I actually found a local buyer he's picking it up as soon as it comes out and is installing it into a Chevelle.

I'm actually OUT on Vettes and Jets this year, but won't miss the next one. If you're going to be out there have a blast for me.
