Probably some of what you say may be true.....But many owners out there just do not know the ins and outs of washing/drying...detailing a dark colored car......Or any other colored car. If one of my micro fiber towels hit the ground, they are taken out of service pertaining to any phase of the detailing....I had a 2008 Black Z06...New... Museum delivered....for a year + later, you could gaze over its coat and not notice any signs of fine scratching going on....But, it was a 2008...maybe better clear coat? Perhaps.....
