I won't ever buy a 1st year model, and I can't/won't afford a brand new one. So I will likely buy a used 2015/16 in about 2018. So I guess I have at least 5 years to keep enjoying my C6.
I thought I would eventually begin to like it but, I tend to agree with the OP. It's not clean. It's just too busy. I don't know what else to say. If you compare it to a Porsche 911, it looks tacky. When it comes to car styling, I believe in the "less is more" philosophy. GM obviously felt that it had to look boy racer in order for it to be acceptable to the younger crowd. But, what they do not seem to understand is that the younger crowd can't afford it.
The straight-on side view is decent, but from any other angle it looks like one of the Teutels got drunk and customized a Ferrari or Lamborghini.
(Then again, I'm not all that fond of the last two generations of Porsche 911s either, especially the nose.)
The C7 from sides looks great! Just not the rear, IMHO absolutly terrible.
Change is good and inevitable! Some can adjust some not so......
Unless they have a different rear end, no C7 for me!
I haven't warmed up to the car yet either. I don't think it is butt ugly, but I also don't consider it to be a thing of beauty. First thing I'd do is to paint all of the black scoops, vents and panels to match the car. Between all of the sharp creases and black scoops, vents and panels the car looks too cluttered for my taste. I'm hopeful the GM will offer this as a factory option in the future. My 2 cents.

I have to say that the C7 really makes the C5 look dated a lot.
Do I plan on selling my dated C5?...No way, I like it the way it is, But it is starting to show it's age. Gracefully I must add.
Mr.Bill
Hard to justify selling my for $20k and spending another $40k to keep a toy in the garage. My car already sits a lot, I barely drive it once a month.
But I'd jump on the C7 right away if I had the means. Doesn't matter how pimped my car is or if it has 1000hp. It will never turn heads, be more reliable or more comfortable than a 2013 model.
