My C5s have come with the HUD from the factory. IMO, I think I would go to the extra expense and a little extra work to do it right and put a factory system in the car.

It is a single afternoon project to install the factory HUD, it's really not very difficult, spend a couple of hours reading one of several post regarding installation, get the parts and knock her out, I think in the long run you would be happier, just my honest opinion.

I've seen some go for 230-265, I don't mind paying that. I could do the labor myself no problem! it's just hard finding a good deal on them. all the others I've seen are about 334-450 bucks.
im not looking for the easy way out trust me lol. im just looking for a good set up, and I miss having HUD
The hardest part to find is the harness, or at least for a decent price, people who have them know they are difficult to locate so they jack the price up on em. Watch the classified for one.

I added a factory HUD to my 2002 a few months back and it was a breeze, No way I would add one of those to my car, Factory is the way to go and if you look around you can find a good deal, I paid 250 for everything I think it was and took about 4 hours to install.
not sure if the one you posted would look good or not.....looks like it sits on your dash...and that would be a deal breaker....spend the extra and hide the components....
On a 2002 it's no problem. The connector to power the projector is already in the IPC. Biggest problem will be the harness to connect the buttons to the IPC as mentioned above. You can sometimes find them on eBay at a decent price. All you will need is the switch/harness, projector and bezel.
