So my web site is going down for a while until I find a Web host cheaper.
Any ideas on less expensive site I can host my site to ?
My disappearing web site is... www.ToqueZ06.com
You might want to print off anything you want before its gone for a while.

I have a dedicated server with mediatemple.net. They're a great company.. I've used them for almost 5 years now. Very reliable and affordable. Their shared hosting is only $20/month I believe.
If you need a spot to temporarily backup your stuff, let me know and I'll give you space on my server while you transition.

I'm already paying for it, and I really don't use it for much other than keeping historical links and data out there and for keeping an old email address active. Nooooooooooo. I use Hostpapa for my business site. Wish I was educated enough in it to help you. I'm sure the raise in the cost of the renewal is the point of looking elsewhere but if you start taking donations I will be happy to help out.

it's a win win really. i get the ad money from guys that click on ads and you get free hosting on an indexed wordpress site

I hope to have it all sorted out in a couple weeks. My subscription is payed till the end of the month so hopefully I'm back up and running somewhere before that.
Thanks Evan. I'm going to do some looking around to see what I can find in the short term. I just don't need anything large, or all that other "extra" stuff that iPage wanted me to pay for. I just needed some space, and ability to FTP files to it. I'm going to do some research tonight to see what I can find.

Well... doing some quick searches I found a host that will charge me about $89.00 for 3 years ($2.50/month).
Transfer my domain name for free too.
I hope to keep my ToqueZ06.com name....
I asked the question... "How much will it be after the 3 years?"
They said it will be the same price 3 yrs from now for another 3 yr plan.
I will call them again to verify with another person tonight.
I got the EPP key from my domain to give to this other hosting site.
