I like the ideal of pinning it to start with..should of came that way stock..i know my stealth r/t tt was pinned from the factory..but maybe that was due to the twin turbo's it came with ?

Robert, Would you know the numbers for his "stage 3"?

I have a GMPP ASA cam I'm considering installing this winter looking for 380-400rwhp/rwtq through my A4. I thought about the GMPP Hot cam but from my reading and the sound clips I've heard I liked the ASA better but these are both a little older in design tech.
Now I'd like to hear more about Arun's...

FYI, reference numbers for the OP...
GMPP Hot cam: 218/228 .525 112lsa
GMPP ASA: 226/236 .525 110lsa

Good luck with your choice.

Very simplified terms the lower the number the lumpier the idle.
Generally all things being equal a 112 will idle rougher than a 114.
Just a note on the GMPP ASA cam, its not recommended for A4 equipped cars as vacuum could be an issue with the 110 LSA

Certainly not trying to hyjack the thread OP but would like to follow up on Steveo's comment as it does apply somewhat to your original question.

Steveo, all the reading I've done, and honestly I'm still learning, this is the first time I've read this. Could you explain what you mean? I'm not seeing a logical connection between vacuum and an A4 and 110 lsa?

Thanks
