And what is the diagnosis that determined it is bad. It might be easily repairable (at home!).

A mechanic said with the multiple codes. 1241H,1255HC,1256HC. The relay fix through ABSFIXER wouldnt work. 03 coupe.

But you might want to double check with the ABS Fixer to make sure it can't just be repaired.

Another 2001 or newer ebcm that needs repair. I am on this site quite a bit and hear about how the early models are a problem. I could be wrong, just seams like there is bigger problem with the newer cars.

Sounds like another GM blunder. Electric issues on American cars never seese to amaze me.

Just ordered a rebuilt one from Digital Auto Technology. Decided to have them send me one (rebuilt) for $250 but requires a core ($200 hold add'l). I'd rather just pull and replace same day even though I know you can drive without it for a while. Much better than dealer cost. ABSFIXER was another option with a good reputation. DAT warranties for 1 year on theirs.

REALLY, try some of the Euro trash cars, especially Jaguar if you want to see EXPENSIVE electrical issues.

Jaguars were owned by Ford. Not anymore tho.I didnt mean to dog just GM. I meant most US car companys.

If you read carefully you will see the issue is that the older ones are harder to repair and much harder to find a replacement. Not that they fail more or less.
