Being not familiar whatsoever with wheels.... Needing opinions on this statement before I punch the button and buy some wheels....The following paste is from the Vendor......
" Zeeman, the fronts are the same offsets (54MM), the rears are slightly more aggressive at 56mm. 2mm is a hair. All of the aftermarket companies build the rear at 56mm in the Z06, spyder, ZR1, cup, or grand sport styles. When you go extreme high end the offstets will be closer to 53mm. The higher the number the more tucked in it appears."
Now my next question is, going with the 56MM versus 58MM (factory), what's going to happen? Anything I would notice?

Not to be Captain Obvious, but your wheels will obviously sit 2mm further outward from the car, assuming they are the same width as the OEM wheels. So, nothing will happen.
Thanks guys!! Never really thought 2MM sticking out more would be noticeable.... Just needed some positive comments like this Forum is noted for!!
it won't but it has to be a 10.5" wheel
with an 11" wheel you would have the 2mm outboard increase on top of a 1/4 inch which is roughly 6.5mm creating an 8.5mm outboard increase. mix that in with a 305mm tire that's in theory 10mm wider but in practice more like 20mm wider and you have a tire edge that could be a solid 3/4" out
this is why 65mm is a chosen offset for an 11" wheel with a 305 tire, it will only poke out about 1/4" from stock which is acceptable to most everyone
These wheels I'll be buying ARE 10.5 in width. Just bought new Potenzas', the same tire size as the original "Badyears " were. So, given all that, it appears it'll be safe for me to do the purchase...
So.... Again, thanks for the great responses!!

which tire did you get? the s04 is a little better tire than the supercars, the re760 isn't going to perform any better than the goodyears, it's more of the cruiser tire in the bridgestone lineup
the tire i'm in love with now is the michelin super sport. they nearly rival the yokohama ad08 in the dry and are better in the wet and with wear

Hey, just made a couple hundred mile road trip on my new pss's and all I can say is wow. Just a little more road noise than I expected but the ride and response more than make up for it. Really glad I made this choice.

aren't they wonderful? single best all around street tire i have driven on yet. they really remind me of the yoke ad08 in feel, just with a better ride quality and apparently more mileage.
i don't think they are quite as rugged of a track tire but for street duty i can see why the c7., the 458 and others are using the pss. it's just top tier
