Auto feature windows express question.

Auto feature windows express question.
Hi, I have a '03 vert. My question, the auto window switch doesn't express the window down. I hold the switch down upon release the window stops should it not express down after holding it down? Am I doing something wrong or is there some thing that needs attention. Rob

On my 2002 I just hit the down button really quick and it goes down, If I hold it for a sec or 2 it will stop when I release the button.
