Default C6 z

When will we see the C6 Z for sale below $35k. From what Ive seen even with the valve issues a 40k mile car sells for above $40K.

Think it will be a while, I have a C6Z as well as C5Z. The C6 is a beast, plus after 2009 the numbers built became only in the hundreds not 1000's of cars manufactured.

I think with the c7 a lot of them will start hitting the market. Personally I would say maybe early next year. That is just what I am thinking. There are plenty already dropping into upper 30s

I have seen some of the above 50k miles and not the best condition cars for 35k. not all on the forum. So it is here now. The nicer ones will be found for 35k next year. May not be a easy find but they will be out there. IMO

i have seen 15k mile 2006 cars sell for 40k

common to see 30k mile 2006 cars go for 40k

if you drop to 35k you're up around 60k miles

the c6z does not appear to be a car people want to get off of anymore than the c5z. just the other day that 09 zr1 with 4k miles closed for 91k on the auction

the ONLY current corvette gen that was discarded seems to be the c4

c5's and c6's aren't being liquidated by owners. technically it makes sense too. the c4 was the end of the gen1 engine and birdcage frame. the c5 began the water formed tube frame and LSx engines which are still being refined today.

the only c6 being sold under book or at trade in with any frequency is the 2005 coupe, especially the non z51 cars

Not for a long time... Im sorry, A base C7 that's been showing the capability to only pump out track numbers that a Base LS2 C6 had done is not going to dwindle the prices of the C6 Z06 lol... Once they decide to release the C7Z and guys sell there children to afford one then you may see them start to sell a few grand cheaper then they currently are... Look how well the C5Z's have been doing considering they are over a decade old and can still probably out perform a New C7

what's the history? was the reserve met? do you know if the cars sold?

the few i've watched on mecum in the past couple months like that have sold 84-91k

really not sure why someone would pay 91k for an 09 even if it was like new. it was a hot color combo met grey on black

As far as the C6Z goes, I would only get the 08+ model. I want the TR60 trans. Most of those are still around 50k.

I plan on adding a C6Z to my stable once my Avalanche is paid for... It will be another 3 years... I am sure by then they will be crazy low... I want an Atomic Orange, Dark Sunset Orange Metallic. I'll NEVER get rid of my C5Z...

I've been thinking about upgrading to a C6Z but all the prices are about 40k+ for 30k miles. If they hit 35k I will definitely put it into consideration.
