I would look at the 01 and see what a serious cash offer you can make.

There are plenty of nice cars around so you are in the drivers seat..

don't jump on the first thing you find.

There are lower mileage cars out there in the same price range

For what it is worth I got my 2002 coupe on ebay with 30K on it a year and a half ago for 18k. Take your time and look around.
Additionally it would be money well spent to have seller take to a Chevy dealership and have it pre sale inspected, on your dime. Best 175.00 I have spent in a long time.

Asking too much for th '02 in my opinion. I got my '01 w/83k for $15,200. Assuming there's nothing wrong you're looking at $500-1000 on changing all the fluids (assuming you take it somewhere).

that's fair value if the car is in decent shape. look very close at the exhaust pipes. if they are coal black look very close for signs of black soot on the bumper. people have said the 01 z06 was the car that burned oil but those same rings i swear found their way in the 01 ls1, at least some of them. ideally the exhaust tips will be grey/dark grey

ps. are you sure you want an auto?

Hard to say just what shape the car is in - looks like it could use a good detailing. $12.5K for the car would be pretty good provided it all checks out OK. Definitely have someone check it over before you get serious and make an offer.
