I just don't need for carbon fiber nuts to nail me to the cross just cause it's not red, black or carbon fiber.
This works I think cause it's in with the shale interior.

Kind of jumps out to me, but looks like quality pieces. I kind of laughed too when I saw your first post. Need to be a little thick-skinned if your going to show off your baby!

Would not be my cup of tea but I am really impressed with the effort you must have gone through to accomplish this change.
It is your car and if you like it that is all that really matters. Nice workmanship, I picture it as a nightmare trying to get it all apart.

And . . .
The shop is in Texas, and it must of been a job to get the 'Grain' of the wood to carry over and match the other pieces. The do Carbon fiber, rebuild or create wood steering wheels and a lot of leather work. Not fast, but quality work !

Looks very cool! Did you do this yourself? Either way nicely done. Sometimes folks might be taken aback when it's something they aren't used to. That type of interior used to be looked upon like the totally tricked out carbon fiber/leather/suede interior pieces are today.

I think it looks very good with you lighter interior. I don't think it would look as good with black interior (like whats in mine). I remember when I had my new 1985 C4, you could by the burlwood kits for the interior. They still may be availabe as I havent shopped for C4 parts in a long while.
