Default Need Help - Temperature Sensor Basel - UGH

So, I has not been a good day here.....

I "tied" to install the C5 Column lock bypass to no avail. I could not get yellow wiring harness to unplug no matter what I tried.

So giving up, I put everything back together and all is honky-dory UNTIL I try to reinstall the temperature sensor basel. Again, no matter what I tried, I cannot get it to snap back in. Is there a trick that I am missing. I really do not want to break the tabs off!

2 Questions:

1. Can someone provide some assistance?
2. When I do break the tabs off, where should I go to get a new one?

Sincerely, Optimism is low!

Try looking at the instructions at this site http://97vette.com/howto/columnlock/bypassinstall.html

I hope that this helps.

I meant to say next to the yellow plug. I know this may sound fully, but right now I am more concerned about getting the basal back on than the damb column lock bypass.
